Erhu
Born in Harbin, Hei Long Jiang Province, Ethan Yang Enhua, a visually impaired student, who has started learning Erhu at the age of 13 under the tutelage of Professor Li Yaping from the Harbin National University and visually impaired Erhuist, Professor Gan Bolin. He has then moved to Hong Kong in 2014 and continue his Erhu studies with Ms. Peng Cheng from the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. Funded by the "Artist with Disability Development Fund", Yang travelled to Beijing to receive guidance from Professor Yang Xue in the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. He was then admitted to the undergraduate program of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He is currently studying Erhu under the guidance of Ms. Mao Qinghua, the Huqin co-principal of Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra 

In 2015, Yang has been awarded the gold medal in the 5th International Chinese Instrument Competition (Youth Division) and the Most Outstanding Performer Award (Children and Youth) in "Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Performing Artists with Disabilities 2015". He has been awarded the Champion in the 70th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival Erhu Solo (Advanced Division) in 2018. In 2022, Yang participated in the International Young Competition held by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, he has won the VSA International Young Soloists Competition Award and has then been invited to perform in Washington DC.
