On the eve of Christmas 2023, on December 23rd, the Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired was honored to be invited by the Chief Executive and his wife to participate in the Christmas celebration activities and perform music at the Government House. Students and alumni of Ebenezer School joined hands with participants from the Strive and Rise Programme, along with current students and graduates from the Vocational Training Council's Hotel and Tourism Institute, Chinese Culinary Institute, and International Culinary Institute, gathered at the Hong Kong Government House. There, they presented a wonderful Christmas performance for the Chief Executive, Mr. John Lee Ka-chiu, weaving together a warm and harmonious holiday celebration with their talents. The performance kicked off with an ensemble from Ebenezer School students and alumni, including Jason Lam, Lau Yik Keung, Wong Ming-zan, Yang Enhua, Ding Yijie, Xie Shu-mei, and Shirley To. They delivered a medley of songs, such as "Molly Flowers" and "Ode to Joy," featuring a fusion of Chinese and Western instruments, along with moving vocal performances. Following that, the Ebenezer School Choir joined the performance, singing Christmas carols with everyone present, elevating the atmosphere to a climax. This musical feast not only filled the Government House with rich festive joy and warmth but also reflected Ebenezer School's profound passion for the arts and deep concern for society. It further promoted a caring and inclusive Christmas atmosphere.
